The panel included the book’s authors, Paula Caballero, regional managing director for Latin America at the Nature Conservancy, and Patricia “Patti” Londoño, former vice minister for multilateral affairs of Colombia. Redefining Development from Latin America to the World

Werner highlighted the book’s insightful approach to the past, present, and future of sustainable development, with clear lessons and reflections for the region.

The conference, titled América Latina y el Caribe trabajando en la Agenda 2030 para el desarrollo sostenible, was held on September 19th and 20th in New York City and saw the participation of former and current heads of state, ministers, and experts as a prelude to the United Nations General Assembly’s 77th Session, held also in New York this week.

Paula and Patricia’s book should be understood as a true manual on negotiation skills, on how to search for allies and convince the skeptical.
