This course examines key issues shaping the region, including Latin America’s economic policy challenges, U.S. foreign policy and political leadership dynamics, and the evolving nature of international trade and economic diplomacy. The course also addresses major global security concerns such as great power competition, alongside regional topics like migration patterns, violence and citizen security, and the role of governance in addressing these challenges. In addition, it explores policy responses to climate change and the influence of local economic conditions on business strategy.
