Georgetown Americas Institute

Kate Blansett is senior program associate with the Georgetown Americas Institute. Before joining the institute in 2022, she spent three years working in development and communications at the Inter-American Dialogue. She also worked with the Cope Environmental Center for four years managing community outreach and fundraising efforts.  She holds a Masters of Policy Management from Georgetown University and a B.A. in History and Spanish from Indiana University. She has 10 years working experience in nonprofits and nongovernmental organizations, specializing in communications, development, program development, project management, and logistics.
